IMPORTANT NOTICE : Flickr’s New Free Plan & TURNIP 2

Flickr, which has hosted the vast majority of images displayed on this website for years, announced on November 1, 2018 to its users that from Januiary 1, 2019 the photo-sharing site will limit free storage to 1,000 photos and videos, instead of the free 1TB of storage that was previously offered. Any excess will be permanently deleted from its archive.

Flickr explains in its announcement that only less than 3 percent of the free members have more than 1,000 photos. I currently have 2,395 images on Flickr and use nearly 2GB (0.2 percent of the 1TB) of storage; I find myself falling into the minority that will be affected by Flickr’s new policy. The hosting site has already warned me that my uploads will soon be locked.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Flickr for generously hosting all my photos and am going to delete the exceeding 1,400 in accordance with the change. Consequently, some contents on this website become temporarily unavailable after Christmas, 2018. I kindly ask for your understanding.
